Formed in Spokane, WA in 2020 during the pandemic, Vella la Vella began playing music in a Pontiac going thru a Wendy’s drive thru, exploding on social media when their pop-up performances took them and their heavy metal-ified Pontiac (named Helldorado) into the feeds of millions of online users.

     Powered by a DIY hard rock spirit, and inspired by the big, bad and ugly of electrified rock ‘n’ roll, they have steadily built a following of mainstream radio-rock fans to diehard metalheads.

The current lineup started in Los Angeles, California and consists of Johnny Symmes (Guitar/Vocals), Luis Ortega (Guitar), Johnny Shankel (Bass), and Nachiket Karekar (Drums).
